What Students Should Know
It's optional, but worth it
Assignment scores don't affect your certification. Your final exam does, and you need 70% or better. The chat is a good place to firm up anything you're unsure about before test day.
Come with questions
Something you missed on an assignment, a topic that didn't click, or a question a real client might ask you. Answer it as a counselor would.

Meet Your Instructor
Roy Bush
Roy spent nearly 15 years in credit counseling after retiring from a 24-year career in the Air Force. His experience covers credit counseling, debt management, and housing counseling, including foreclosure counseling and pre-purchase counseling for first-time homebuyers qualifying for HUD-required assistance.
He holds NACCC certifications in Credit, Housing, Student Loan Counseling, and Career and Financial Coaching, along with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Public Administration. Today his focus is helping new counselors get started on the right foot.
