We are proud to announce Phil Heinemann as a speaker at the upcoming Society of Financial and Career Consulting Professionals Conference.
Phil Heinemann is the Executive Director and President of Debt Management Credit Counseling Corp. (DMCC), a 501c3 HUD Approved Multi-State Organization that provides assistance to consumers in the form of financial education, counseling and debt repayment plans. Mr. Heinemann is a certified professional with over 35 years of financial management and operations experience in private and publicly owned companies.
Prior to joining DMCC in 2002, Mr. Heinemann managed the business and financial affairs of international superstar Julio Iglesias, including the production of concert tours and promotional events, and the financial management of over a dozen affiliated entities, both U.S. domestic and offshore. From 1988 to 1997, Mr. Heinemann was the Chief Financial Officer of Neolens, Inc. (NASDAQ:NEOL), a publicly traded ophthalmic lens manufacturer. While at Neolens, Mr. Heinemann was a key participant in the issuance of several private placements of securities and the consummation of a successful tender for the company’s outstanding stock by one of its largest competitors. Mr. Heinemann began his career in 1980 as a certified public accountant with the international firm of KPMG Peat Marwick, where he was primarily responsible for the financial and tax reporting of corporate clients in the real estate and construction industries.
Mr. Heinemann holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Florida and obtained his CPA License from the State of Florida. He is a Certified Financial Counseling Professional and a member of the Board of Directors of the Financial Counseling Association of America.
